LVRC National Road Race Championships

On Sunday June 26th, Reading CC is promoting the LVRC National Road Race Championships for categories A/B/C with a supporting race for D/E/F. The event is on the Stoke Row circuit, HQ at Nettlebed Village Hall. Morning races start at 9.30am, afternoon at 2pm.

The Reading CC road race was held on the Great Milton circuit with 78 riders taking to the start for the four laps of the regional A race. After the pre race briefing, a minutes silence was perfectly observed in memory of Wouter Weylandt who died recently in the Tour of Italy.

Reading CC 2/3/4 Road Race 15 May 2011

Patrick Kavanagh is the organiser for the BC 2/3/4 road race. The event takes place on the Great Milton circuit at 10.30am on Sunday May 15th. Further offers of help for marshalling would still be gratefully received. The race was heavily oversubscribed, with a high quality full field of 80 riders being accepted.

Club members are encouraged to come and support this major club promotion on the day. Full details are in the attached Race Programme.

LVRC Road Race - October 3rd

Reading CC promotes a road race under LVRC regulations on Sunday October 3rd at 10.00am HQ is in Woodcote, the race is on the usual circuit based around Stoke Row.

RCC Summer Road Race - June 27 2010 - Results

The race takes place this year on Sunday 27 June at 1400. Race distance is 54 miles (57 miles incl. neutralised section), and is for categories: 2/3/4. The course is based this year around Drift Road, Maidens Green and Cranbourne. HQ is Holyport War Memorial Hall.

As most of you will be aware we ran the second event in the our Road Race series on Saturday with the Reading only Crit, which despite a few worries that we may not have enough numbers, ended up being a cracking race. Just over 20 riders signed on for the 1 hour plus 5 laps race and what turned out to be the best day of the weekend.
