Nick Babington in the Hillingdon Winter Series Hillingdon Winter Series
The Imperial Winter Series at the Hillingdon circuit starts on 1 December and runs through to 16 February. The format is similar to last year though there has been a change to the start time of the 4th cat race. Details are as follows:

December 1, 8, 15, 22, 26*, 29
January 1*, 5, 12, 19, 26
February 2, 9, 16**

Cat 4th start 12:30 for 35 min + 5 laps £8
Youth A B C D E start 13:30 for 30 min £3
Cat 2&3 start 14:15 for 1 hr + 5 laps £10
Cat E&1 start 14:15 for 1 hr + 5 laps £10

Note 26th* & 1st* No Youth race. 4th start 11:00 E,1,2&3 start 12:00

Reading promoted the Reading VETS road race on the tough Stoke Row course on 30.9.07. The results are now available :: here ::

British Cycling Results
In April 2007 we promoted the Reading Spring Road Races for Elite/1/2 riders and 3/4 riders in partnership with the awcycles.co.uk Racing Team, and in June we promoted the British Cycling Central Region Road Race Championships in partnership with Didcot Phoenix CC. Both events took place on the Woodcote course

Getting Started?
Reading CC  has a number of riders who actively participate in British Cycling and LVRC road racing events. Anyone interested in road racing with Reading CC (whether existing or prospective members) should contact me by e-mail: stephen.bale@ntlworld.com. Training
As well as the weekly clubrun members and local riders are encouraged to take advantage of the facilities at Palmer Park. The velodrome is available on both Tuesday and Thursday evenings for training. Sessions are from 8:15pm until 10:00 pm and cost £2.95.
