There is an extensive local bus service that tends to be only used by the locals, as most tourists use the private hire companies. It does take bikes though I expect that there is maximum number allowed, dependant on how busy it is. Due to the extensive tourist business, and the size of your group there are a variety of cars and coaches The buses called 'guaguas' are operated by the Titsa Company; most of them are air-conditioned and connect up the towns and villages.
