Tenerife - Accommodation
|
|
Being such a touristy place there is a never-ending supply of hotels of all denominations in the towns. Most of the flatter lands around the island are covered with these conglomerations of towns and tourist resorts. The problem is not the amount of accommodation available but the type of accommodation available for cyclists. There are a number of smaller villages inland most with there own hotels or pension type accommodation but they are limited and may be full at peak periods. Inland there is also a variety of old rustic houses that have been redeveloped into self catering type accommodation, these tend to be in more accessible positions for the interior, and clearly close enough to the towns to shop and go out in the evening. |
