Reading CC has been promoting cycling in Berkshire since 1974. With over 200 members, the club is dedicated to giving cyclists the opportunity to race, ride and enjoy life on two wheels. We have something on offer for all sporting riders, with a series of evening time trials throughout the racing season, several social rides every week along with road racing, sportives, audax and cyclo-cross. The club welcomes new members to participate in all these activities. Please browse the site to learn more about us, and don't hesitate to contact a member of the committee for further information.
Reading Cycling Club press report, week ending 16 Dec 2012
Imperial Winter Series, Hillingdon Circuit
AW Cycles rider Ken Buckley won the 3rd category race at Hillingdon with a determined late attack. Buckley, who is better known as a time-triallist, describes an emotional race win: "It was a windy day over at Hillingdon with a headwind slowing the pack down one of the straights. I had turned up with an extra glint of determination in my eye as sadly my Grandad had passed away during the night prior to the race.
