Barbaric punishment is a theme at this time of year, and Reading CC gave you the opportunity to "enjoy" a very hilly ride based around the Hambleden valley on Easter Sunday, featuring 11 climbs, most of which have sections of more than 14%, with 1400m of climbing in total.
It was a chilly 2C at the start, with wind, snow and sleet flurries, although conditions did improve during the ride. The results are attached below, along with a photo by Barry Quick of the conditions when the ride set off.
