David Pollard of In-Gear Quickvit was a clear winner in the club's open 10-mile promotion at Aldermaston on Sunday. Pollard's 21:19 on a cool and misty morning was 25 seconds ahead of his closest rival, Tim Bedingfield of AW Cycles.

Reading CC's Trudi Sammons won the women's event in a time of 24:12, with the top three Reading men, Paul Taylor, Nick English and Dan Clipston also picking up the team award.
