Information for the Public

Cyclo-cross is off-road bicycle racing. The action is fast and furious and is great to watch as well as take part in. The course the riders are to follow will be marked out on the day and will use the wood and open space to the north side of the Mansion House down to the Tilehurst Road. The under 12s race for 10-15 minutes, youths (12-16 years old) for half an hour, and juniors, seniors, and women for an hour. During this time we invite you to come and watch and find out more about the sport, but also request that any dogs are kept under control. Marshals will be on hand to answer any queries you may have and course marking will be removed as soon as the event is over.
